A West Hartford man was arrested Sunday for allegedly video taping women in the bathroom at Wesleyan University.

A female student was in the third floor bathroom of the library when she saw someone recording her with a small digital camera, police said.

She identified Michael McKenna, 30, as the man she saw in the hallway when she returned with a friend to check the bathroom, police said. McKenna, who is not a student at the university, was questioned by police and admitted to taping women in the bathroom, police said.

Officers found 14 separate videos on McKenna's camera, police said. McKenna also confessed to keeping and sharing similar videos on the internet from his personal computer, police said.

McKenna is charged with breach of peace, voyeurism and criminal trespassing. He was released on a $15,000 bond pending a court date March 4.
