A man drove through the front of the 7-Eleven on Main Street overnight, police said.

Carlos Caballero, 40, of 93 Brown St., Hartford, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, evading responsbility and other motor vehicle charges.

Police said Caballero was driving drunk and fled the scene following the accident that happened about 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Police said he was apprehended immediately.

The accident caused significant damage and the building inspector has been called in, police said.

Caballero is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Monday in Manchester Superior Court.
