Newtown Public Schools will be holding a "community giveaway" Sunday for families of Sandy Hook Elementary students and Newtown families.

Throughout the day on Sunday, Reed Intermediate Schools will be open to the families of Sandy Hook Elementary families and Newtown families, according to the public school's website.

The goal is to share the items the town received in the wake of the Sandy Hook tragedy, according to the site.
