An overturned tractor trailer truck is causing traffic delays on Route 8, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The rollover happened about noon on the exit 33 off-ramp from Route 8 south to I-84 west, the DOT states in a traffic alert.

The crash is expected to take up to eight hours to clear.
